JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requirements based digital hardware design and verification (FPGA)
- Formal requirements capture
- Conceptual design / hierachical decomposition
- Detailed design (VHDL)
- Module level verification
- Implementation
- HW integration
- Formal design documentation
- Design verification via HDL simulation / code assertions / HW verification on-target
- Development of verification cases, of test enviroment and of verification
- Procedures
- Performing verification
- Formal documentation of results
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical, communications, aerospace and astronautics engineering or comparable studies
- Minimum 1 year of project experience in digital HW design (industry or academic) desirable
- Hardware description language: VHDL, Verilog
- Scripting language (e.g. TCL)
- Windows / Linux (user, scripting)
- Mentor ModelSim / QuestaSim
- Xilinx ISE / Vivado
- MicroSemi Libero
- DOORS / JAMA
- SVN / Clearcase
- Avionics HW development standards (DO-254), alternatively automotive or medical
- Video standards (e.g. NTSC / PAL component video, VGA, SMPTE SDI, display Port, ARINC 818)
- Modern interconnects (PCI-Express, Ethernet)
- Legacy I/O standards
- Digital video / image processing
- Memory Interface Standards (DDR3/4)
- Peripheral Interconnects
- Fluent English skills desirable
- Good communication and team work skills
- Ownership and accountability to work and to team
