The owner of the position will be responsible for ESG at IONOS under the direct coordination of the Hosting Group COO.

The ESG Manager will focus on:

• Building up and driving sustainability topics at IONOS.
• Further developing the ESG strategy in cooperation with internal stakeholders: Initiation and support of Sustainability/ESG related projects for its implementation, contribution to the further development of the corporate and sustainability strategy.
• ESG controlling and reporting: Targets, key figures, internal and external audits, reporting, exchange of experience and information within the company, advising the business units.
• Contributing to operational ESG design: Advising and supporting the operational units and corporate functions such as corporate development, innovation management, risk management, purchasing, compliance, communication, etc.
• Managing stakeholders: Initiating and shaping the dialogue with central stakeholders or contributing to it, overseeing the decentralized stakeholder dialogues, responding to questionnaires, giving presentations, identification of new requirements.

The sustainability manager will be in charge of the following topics:

• Continuous development and implementation of sustainability strategy.
• Controlling of sustainability projects and KPIs (sustainability audits).
• Coordination of sustainability projects.
• Defines, creates and controls sustainability communication (report, website etc.).
• Prepare ESG ratings reports.
• Analyze application of standards, frameworks and regulations, e.g., GRI standards, EU regulations.
• Coordination of the dialogue with stakeholders and organization of ESG related workshops.
