Your Tasks
- Design the selection of electrical components (including auxiliary converters, batteries) for the rail vehicles
- Understand technical specifications, and detailing out the specifications in to electrical circuits diagram of rail vehicles in the project
- Plan the electrical system taking into account the relevant customer requirements and standard requirements
- Understand the functional concepts drawings, circuit drafts, interface definition, material specifications etc. (defined for rail vehicles)
- Coordinating the specification with customers
- Clarifying technical interfaces with all partners involved, such as other subsystems and sub-suppliers
- Configuration of hardware
- Electrical documentation
- Provide Electrical solutions and present the solution and approval from internally and externally departments, review meetings
- Creating/modifying the electrical documents like circuit diagrams, Bill of Materials, Cable list etc.
- Coordinating with the technical owners, subject matter experts and implement the design in the electrical documents
- Release of electrical documents in PLM/SAP etc.
Required Skills
- Experience Level: at least 10 years in the electrical techincal area; at least 5 years in the field of Rolling stock; at least 5 years in COMOS or ELCAD, E3, Eplan, ELCAD any Cad tools
- Successfully completed degree, specialised in electrical engineering/electronics/computer science
- Electrical hardware engineering
- Good knowledge on rail standards
- Creation of electrical circuit diagrams for rolling stock
- Participation in system testing, commissioning
- Communication skills, analytical and systematic way of working
- Fluency English, German is a plus
