Plant restructuring in Eastern Europe
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Plant Manager for the restructuring of a production plant in Eastern Europe. Successful individual will report to the group management and will take ownership for all activities within the facility’s fence (Planning, Production, Operation, Quality) all manufacturing support functions (EHS, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) as well as the economic results of the facility.
DIRECTOR OPERATIONS / WERKLEITER (f/m/d)
Primary duties:
- Ensures safe and compliant operations and production schedules & production capacity are balanced to meet customer needs.
- Secures optimal quality and quantity of products being produced just in time. Secures cost-conscious utilization of material, personnel and equipment.
- Works with business leaders to highlight opportunities for quality and service improvements and cost savings that lead to creating competitive advantages.
- Ensures safe manufacturing practices in compliance with all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures.
- Responsible for the production of all assigned products in accordance with product specifications and time, cost and quality standards.
- Fosters a culture and mindset of continuous improvement in the entire organization.
Requirements:
- University Degree in Technical Studies
- Financial education/experience (budgeting, controlling)
- Minimum five years of prior experience in a similar position
- Several years of management experience with a proven track record of success
- Experience in implementing and managing continuous improvement systems
- Fluency in English and ideally German
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise others
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels and supervise teams at different levels
