Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate internal controls to ensure reliability and integrity of financial information and compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws and regulations
- Support the management in optimizing internal controls by assessing and challenging operating (process) efficiency and profitability, identifying weaknesses, proposing remediation plans and monitoring their implementation
- Assist the management in developing, optimizing and maintaining business processes, operating guidelines, policies and procedures as well as challenge improvement opportunities
- Plan and establish risk-based audit programs considering specific organization's business, size, operations, systems, processes and procedures
- Execute system-based, mass data-oriented audits, organize and conclude exit meetings with local management as well as elaborate and present related reports to the group’s board of management
Your Qualifications:
- Master degree in business administration, economics or similar studies
- Several years experience as an auditor, ideally first in an account firm with subsequent career as internal auditor in a global company
- Very good SAP skills as well as strong accounting know-how, preferably IFRS and/or German GAAP
- Qualifications like CIA or CPA as well as knowledge of specific data analysis software tools (IDEA, ACL™) are of advantage
- Strong analytical skills, structured approach, interested in business process optimization and ability to handle a full-scope audit assignment on your own
- Imperturbable and with integrity behaving personality that is used to work independently and with conscientiously hands-on mentality as well as result-orientation, always striving for the right balance of detail-oriented work and the bigger picture for decision-usefulness
- Excellenct communication skills across all organization levels
- Fluent in English, another language is of benefit
- Willingness to travel
