The position
We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join the HBK Ethics/Compliance team and ensure that our operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules.
The HBK Ethics/Compliance function supports and advises all HBK business functions globally in achieving their strategic objectives and operational targets while ensuring and promoting a culture of integrity.
Our new team member will be responsible for ensuring upright behaviour and proper business conduct in all of HBK’s activities. This includes, amongst others, adherence to EU, UK, US and other applicable laws and regulations pertaining to anti bribery and corruption as well as ensuring compliance with internal policies.
The new Compliance Officer will report to HBK’s General Counsel and Head of Compliance based in Darmstadt, Germany and will work closely with our Export Control and Legal teams.
This position is well suited for an ambitious candidate who is used to working in an autonomous manner and who will thus be able to add value to a growing organisation in both the short and long term.
Primary responsibilities
You will be at the core of HBK’s activities to further promote a culture of integrity based on our corporate values Be True, Own It and Aim High. Together with our Asian Ethics/Compliance Officer you will be responsible for and drive the maintenance, enhancement and deployment of the HBK Ethcis/Compliance program and you will train others in the relevant policies and procedures.
