Commercial Manager DACH (m/f/d) for our Subsidiary RAWBITE ApS
RAWBITE ApS, Gentofte
It has now been more than ten years since the first RAWBITE was sold and today our organic fruit-and-nut bars are available in more than 30 countries worldwide. We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Commercial Manager for DACH with enthusiasm to continue driving the international growth and manage both current and new distributors. Together with the rest of the sales team the new Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing the distribution in the DACH region further and take RAWBITE to the next level, especially within modern retail (LEH). The Commercial Manager will adhere as the link between RAWBITE, our Marketing department and our distributors.
You will have the responsibility for the DACH region and the respective accounts (Distributor Management) in which you are responsible for following up with the distributors on sales, marketing, growth & profit maximization and new business development. Hence, you will be responsible for generating and maximizing sales revenue and profitability for the company by meeting or exceeding our ambitious sales targets. The focus will be on support of sell-in, especially to modern trade and furthermore supporting and monitoring the sell-out of customers to drive channel sales performance (via the distributor’s sales force). Furthermore, you will act as the interface between the distributors and our Sales & Marketing Team.
Additionally, as part of the job as Commercial Manager you will execute channel specific POS measures in close cooperation with the Marketing team and distributor. You are expected to develop and execute country-specific sales and marketing plans as well as identifying the risks and opportunities to the business and recommend strategies to achieve growth and financial goals for your markets.
You will report to the Head of Sales and mutually define annual sales targets and priorities, which you will execute on a day-to-day basis while developing, implementing and following up on the annual growth- and strategy plans with the customers. You demonstrate your results based on clear KPI’s and sales targets. This includes achievement of short, medium and long-term results regarding turnover and profitability. The work will be both strategical and operational. You will monitor the development of the distributors and the local executions. This includes close follow-up and quality control of the distributors and may result in proposal of improvements. The position is based in Germany with a close connection to our HQ located near Copenhagen in Denmark. Travels are required mainly within the DACH region but could also include visits to Denmark and international fairs.
We are looking for a candidate with minimum 10 years of experience as an export, regional or international key account manager within the area of FMCG, preferably food. You have significant experience working with distributors and have experience in improving existing and scouting new distributors. A sound international network to distributors is an advantage. You have demonstrated success in grocery, e.g., through negotiating annual reviews with retailers. Previous experience in Marketing, especially Trade Marketing is also an advantage. Profound German and English skills are a must, Danish would be an additional plus only. You hold a master’s degree in Business Administration, International Management or similar. A deep understanding of the retail landscape in the DACH region is crucial. Key capabilities to be successful in this job are (among others): being good at networking and negotiating, customer-oriented, able to develop distributors and not afraid to take ownership and strive for excellence.
