As an interface to Product Management, Operations and IT, the area Business Process Management is responsible for the global air and sea freight processes of Hellmann. This includes the design and continuous improvement of business processes in terms of standardization, automation and digitalization. In addition to the design and continuous improvement of processes, our Business Process Management team is responsible for the implementation of business processes and ensuring its sustainability.
We are looking for a Business Process Manager (BPM) Airfreight for our team in Hamburg. The focus of your role will be to support the design and rollout of a new global Transport Management System (TMS) as well as the Business Transformation through a high degree of standardization focussing on Airfreight processes. You will directly support the project team at all levels – from analysis to implementation phase. You will gain valuable working experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Work collaboratively with Airfreight business process owners to define Standard Operating Procedures in conjunction with the implementation of a new Transport Management System
Create TMS set-up requirements specifically to Airfreight
Support the rollout of the new Transport Management System driving business process transformation along with it incl. change management, training, etc.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Solid understanding of the global airfreight forwarding industry
Experience with Airfreight processes
Experience with the implementation of a TMS is a plus
Experience in Business Process Management and methodologies such as lean, agile, design thinking or business process modelling
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Strong self-confidence, decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills
The ability to work in a project and team environment across different assignments and cultures
Ability to establish credibility amongst a range of management team members
