Business development of DB Schenker’s “Land Transport” in close cooperation with the Key Account Management Organisation.
•Focus on large accounts of the Electronics sector as predominant Sales Channel
•Give clear indications to the Solution Design Teams / Pricing Teams on market trends and customer re-quirements
•Strategic ‘driver’ of the business development for Electronics in DB Schenker’s Land Transport product; in-crease and generate product family specific business
•Supporting the sales strategy and budget process in alignment with business intelligence
•Gathering and distributing market knowledge to colleagues involved regarding competitors, capacities, pric-es and (potential) clients for Electronics
•Alignment of customer target lists and action plans in cooperation with Key Account Management (KAM)/Sales Vertical Market Electronics and Product Management Land, participate in Electronics Compe-tence Centre Meetings
•Support of commercial discussions / implementation for gained business
•Organize and perform customer visits in alignment with KAM/Sales
•Support global/regional tender projects and pricing/concept requests for major customers
•Directing KAM/Sales with relevant information for business development “Land Transport”
•Drive alignment with Product Management for assigned industry sector
•Develop and challenge the product land transport for Electronics specific customer requirements
•Bachelor or Master’s Degree or similar working qualification
•You have multi-year working experience, ideally with an international logistics service provider or in Elec-tronics Supply Chain.
•You have excellent communication skills and are a talent for driving alignment and collaboration.
•Your strengths include independent working abilities as well as innovative solution thinking.
•You strive for high quality, aim at top decision makers and add your strengths to a team
•You are flexible, highly motivated and available to travel all around the global Schenker network.
•You are fluent in German and English, further languages are advantageous.
•You are experienced in working with MS Office.
