The Controlling team is developing operational, technical as well as financial analyses and reports to create maximum transparency for our decision-makers in our Fleet Department managing one of the world’s biggest owned dry bulk fleet.

We see ourselves as business partners. Accordingly you will not only prepare analyses and reports on request from the specialist departments together with the team, but also develop analyses independently and proactively to support our internal customers in their decision-making.

This position evolves from our goal to lift our reporting to the next level within the coming years. The journey starts with the development of a modern data landscape, implementation of tools and processes to generate a reliable data basis for state-of-the-art analysis in order to enable our customers to make informed decisions.

There is a way ahead of us, therefore we are looking for somebody who:

• is motivated to accept the challenge of contributing towards the implementation of a state-of-the-art data landscape
• is not only interested in the technical implementation, but is also eager to understand the customer needs and the business
• has very good communication skills and does not shy away from the challenges which these significant process changes will entail
• likes to work in a team and to share his knowledge

Apart from the major task you will also be involved in classical controlling topics such as preparing forecasts and support in the process of preparing the financial statement, but only to a lesser extent.
