For our growing Vessel Accounting Team in our Hamburg office we are looking for an
Accounts Officer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Preparation of reports and financial analysis including the (monthly) reporting to our clients
- Compiling of monthly, quarterly and annual Statements of Accounts in accordance with HGB regulations and local requirements
- Booking of all relevant transactions and controlling of automatic transactions for your assigned vessels in accordance with the individual contracts
- Effecting payments including performing of liquidity checks and requesting of additional funds
- Reconciliation of business accounts, clarifying differences and coordination with the internal ordering departments
- Calculation and booking of accruals, deferrals, depreciation and valuation of balance sheet items
Your Profile:
- A commercial education/ degree
- experience in Accounting and Finance in an international company
(position would also be open for graduates with a suitable background) - knowledge of German Finance legislation
- a strong communicator with a passion for numbers and processes
- innovative thinker and strong service mentality
- fluent in German, advanced knowledge in English
