The position:
For our German Wilhelmsen Ships Service branch we are looking for a full time ‘Account Manager’ being located in Hamburg. In this position, you are responsible for the commercial results of your customer portfolio. You will be going to strengthen and further expand Wilhelmsen's Marine Product portfolio and thus its market position with our customer following their needs. In this function you will report to the Sales Manager Germany, Poland & Baltics.
About the department:
The sales department consists out of many years of experienced commercial and technical sales experts within the maritime industry. The sales department works in close collaboration with sales support, customer service and all related business units supporting sales.
What you will be doing:
In this Sales driven position you will drive profitable sales growth on from current and new customers within your assigned customer portfolio. You will hunt for new business from new customers and actively seek new opportunities with existing customers. You will develop robust and measurable Sales Activity Plans within your assigned customers and act assertively to deliver on the agreed targets. Within your daily work you will monitor and build the sales pipeline to achieve the targets as specific based on quality opportunities on existing accounts (share of wallet) and new business. Further you proactively utilize all available sales tools to relentlessly identify areas of sales growth and facilitate respective actions within your customer portfolio. In your daily work, you will closely work and align with and hand-over to internal stakeholders.
Who you are:
You are an eager commercially driven person with an outgoing personality who wants to drive and grow sales in the German territory. You have the skill of gaining good understanding of the customer needs and the ability to provide them with the solutions Wilhelmsen Marine Products offer. Having the ability to work independently by structured planning and organizing your own work against deadlines and targets. Ideally you are living in Hamburg or its surrounding.
