Danfoss Global Procurement is looking for a Category Manager (m/f/d) for Indirect Materials. In this role you will build and execute category strategy and develop supplier relationships. Cooperating with suppliers and internal stakeholder (global and local) is essential, as you need to build and develop strong and mutual beneficial partnerships to fulfill the overall procurement targets: cost optimization, bringing the value, contractual compliance. Moreover, you will manage cross-functional projects, lead negotiations of contracts (global and regional), and at the same time continuously look for new ways for Danfoss to optimize how we do procurement.
You will become part of a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and sparring with each other about processes, each being responsible for different product categories and placed at various locations. Amount of travelling will depend on your location.
You most likely have a bachelor and/or master within a relevant field of study. More importantly you have a proven track record within strategic procurement and/or category management (+ 5 years). Further, you have the following qualifications and characteristics:
