As an IT Security Architect you will be joining a GEA global team responsible for IT Security. The team currently consist of people from Denmark, Germany and The Netherlands. You will be reporting to the Head of IT Security.
You will be involved in defining the overall technical and organizational architecture to hardening and protect the worldwide GEA environment (e.g. network and servers) and to ensure business continuity. This will be an ongoing task in order to always cover current and future requirements. You will help designing the right hardware and software systems to protect from cyber threats. You will need to keep up-to-date with the latest technology around breaches, viruses, and malware and be able to quickly identify and manage attacks when they happen. This include being able to quickly mitigate damages on networks that are currently under cyber attack. You will also perform IT Risk Assessment related to IT projects and vendors. You be will working with other IT personnel to implement new architecture or overview business requirements and standards for any IT security issues.
