Legal Counsel (m/f)
The Legal Counsel works closely with Stryker’s direct sourcing and supplier quality organizations as an advisor and subject matter expert on supplier-related issues. Drafting, editing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents and proactively handling various transactional matters related to all areas of direct procurement contracting (including master supply and service agreements, distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, and contract amendments), supervision of formal contract handling procedures, guidance to local contract or sourcing managers.
Providing timely advice and guidance regarding pre-litigation disputes between Stryker and third party suppliers.
Serving as business partner and strategic advisor to direct sourcing teams.
Providing timely advice to counsel and the sourcing community in a global Environment.
Providing accurate information and research to legal counsel regarding laws and regulations.
Supporting the global sourcing organization through specific local guidance, expertise, strategy and advice.
Providing support related to the development and delivery of in-house training and education.
Developing strong working relationships with the Stryker Business and global Legal teams.
