The position owner will lead, develop and encourage a workforce of three Business Units and their teams covering the Workflow and IT Solution project, Pre-Sales Product Support and Sales Administration.
The person will have responsibility for driving innovation and growth as a member of the senior leadership team. She/he will have the autonomy to drive goals and objectives, measuring and supervising performance and critically chipping in to a holistic strategic and business planning process. She/he will get results through outstanding leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of performance and continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis. The successful person in this position will also enjoy a substantial opportunity for career development and growth within the parent company.
Develop strategy for country(s) customer operational support to meet changing business landscape and building the best customer experience
Develop a team of three managers and associates during the pre-sales and implementation phases for new and existing customers, seeking to deliver outstanding customer experience
Develop and encourage a robust team with focus on engagement, retention and ensuring focus on Organisation & Talent Accessment (OTA) and associated people processes. Embody a passion for development to enable associates to reach their full potential
Provide leadership in crafting a culture of continuous improvement, robust standard work, the adoption of DBS (Danaher Business Systems) to drive primary and secondary business critical metrics
Partner with sales, service and applications with emphasis on delivering a cross functional team approach to delight customer expectations
Masters´ Degree or equivalent qualification in a management or scientific subject
Minimum of 8 years professional experience in the solution selling/capital equipment environment e.g. in the Medical Devices sector
Has a proven successful track record in strategic leadership functioning in a willing to take action environment being experience in building and leading in a result focused, metric driven high performance team.
Has a consistent track record in change management with the willingness to change the status-quo, the strong ability to influence the growth of the business.
Has proven strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid eye for business.
Has a confirmed willingness to attract, hire and retain the highest quality talent, including hiring above the incumbent’s proficiencies where appropriate.
Has previous experience with sophisticated, multi-platform, multi-site tender bids
Is fluent in written and spoken German and English
