The Head of Sales – Germany will be responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for STX Next in Germany. This will be accomplished through active outreach (emailing, calling, professional referrals). You will qualify and manage initial presentations before working with the sales team in Poland to help close and onboard clients. While a degree of technical knowledge would be beneficial, more important is a track record of setting up high-profile meetings with mid-size and corporate decision makers. This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with a knowledgeable senior management team while at the same time having a high degree of independence in crafting the strategy for the specific market. This position lays the foundation for a successful C-Level career. There is a path for career growth within STX Next for the right candidate that is willing to help build out a sales foundation in Germany.
First three - six months
Learn about STX Next products and messaging
Gain access to the tools necessary to be successful: CRM, scripts, product info
Build relationships with your Sales counterparts in Poland
Work with Marketing to create messaging for the German market
Work with Management in Poland to define strategy and KPIs for the German market
Leverage your contact list to schedule high profile meetings with C-Level executives of mid-size and large corporates.
Consistently meet goals for Initial meetings
Six to eighteen months
Continue to build on your core skills and product/Industry knowledge (if needed)
Bring in additional support in Germany in order to expand overall KPIs
Develop and implement 1-2 year strategy for the German Market for STX Next in terms of services and pricing
A proven track record in Sales, with a large contact list of C-Level executives at large and mid-size organizations in Germany
Experience using market research to create pitches and materials that best reach the target audience
Prospecting and cold calling skills a plus
Experience in lead generation in the software industry a plus
Goal-oriented, passionate, high-energy professional
Excellent oral and written communication skills (also in English)
Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company
