Quantum Optics Jena GmbH is a startup in the field of quantum technologies and was founded in 2020. Our vision is to place the security of communication networks on the foundation of quantum physical laws and to deliver solutions with quantum added value. In recent years, the company has established itself worldwide as a provider of entanglement-based quantum key distribution (QKD) systems and offers unique solutions. The product portfolio includes complete QKD systems as well as their individual components, from entangled photon sources to  quantum state analyzers and services for integration into IT networks.
