Access Microfinance Holding AG („AccessHolding“) was established in 2006 by a group of international shareholders from the public and private sector. Our partners include among others the European Investment Bank (EIB), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and KfW Development Bank. The business purpose of AccessHolding is to build up and control a network of commercial banks in developing and transition countries (the “AccessGroup”) with a target group focus on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The AccessGroup currently comprises ten financial institutions located in Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and South America and employs close to 7.000 staff serving more than 400.000 clients. We are looking for an experienced, results-driven, and passionate team lead and a solid solution architect to join our Research and Development unit consisting of 3 teams: Solution Architecture, Data Architecture and Software Development.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with broad knowledge of data transfer protocols, data engineering and software solutions. Our perfect candidate loves experimenting with new technologies and has excellent communication skills. As we run banks in several African countries, the assignment would be described as to build/transform a technology for cross-organisational service- and data-driven culture, including re-/modelling CBS (Core Banking System), DWH, BI dashboards and integrating systems via Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) locally in each bank and globally on a holding level.
