Aircraft repair stress Engineer/Expert (m/f) for Hamburg and southern Germany As aircraft repair stress expert you act as technical authority for repair analysis activities for fuselage structure components. During your work, you decide upon technical solutions and methods to comply with aircraft certification requirements related to repairs. You participate actively in challenging projects related to Structural Repair Manual, daily repairs or concessions. You develop stress repair skills within the aerostructure department and mentor team members to reach relevant skill levels. You interface directly with customer specialists and report to the department manager. Your ideal qualification: For this position we expect a university degree of mechanical or aircraft engineer or equivalent. In addition you have at least 3 years of experience in similar position with 5 to 10 year seniority in the stress/repair field (Structural Repair Manual, daily repairs, concessions). You have proven experience in airbus aircrafts engineering processes (Germany). You are familiar with usage of software like Issy, safe and Nastran/Patran. Personally you are characterized by a pro active behavior, leadership attitude with high level of flexibility. Written and verbal English is important to interact with our multicultural team.
