Fun Fact!

AutoScout24 was conceived in 1998 by Joachim Schoss and the Co-founders on a flight back from Chicago. In a customer meeting they were fascinated by the idea of an online marketplace. They saw the potential in creating one location where someone can find the car you’re searching for, 24/7. Until then, the market was

owned by several newspapers & magazines. Dealers were also intrigued by that idea because it gave them more leads and a direct source of offers. The business started by printing advertisements and sending them randomly to potential users to create traffic on their platform. it is in- credible that we have now over 10m users!
